A tyre warranty gives real protection — but only if you know what's covered and keep your side of the bargain.

What's typically covered

Genuine manufacturing defects — problems in materials or workmanship that appear in normal use. If a tyre fails because it was built wrong, that's a warranty claim.

What isn't

• Road-hazard damage — potholes, cuts, punctures, impacts.
• Wear from under-inflation, misalignment or overloading.
• Normal tread wear to the limit.
• Damage from racing or improper fitting elsewhere.

How to protect your claim

Keep your receipt, maintain correct pressures, rotate and align on schedule, and don't overload. Buy genuine, dated stock from a real dealer — used or grey-market tyres usually have no warranty at all.
